CSR Projects

INWF undertakes Pond/Lake rejuvenation projects under the CSR funding, in the districts of Gurugram and Faridabad in Haryana and Hoshiarpur in Punjab. Other short-listed are in the states of Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab. We welcome companies/organisations to work with us under their CSR contribution to fund these projects. INWF is now registered as an NGO as INEUWF Trust with the Government of India and all donations are eligible for exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act of the Indian Government.

SPRING Water Summit on March 12, 2025 in Delhi

On March 12, 2025 water stakeholders from India, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland gather in Delhi to discuss latest developments in the Indo Nordic water cooperation and widen their networks. The theme of the 2025 Summit is ‘Circularity in Water – Nordic/EU and India Collaboration’, with subthemes ‘Circularity & Innovation in Water / Pulp & Paper / Textile & Fashion / Distilleries’. Speakers include government stakeholders, research and innovation sector and private sector. The event is open to members and non-members.

Registration is now closed.

This year’s summit is organized by Indo Nordic Water Forum, the Embassy of Finland to India and the Embassy of Sweden to India.

The theme of the 2024 Summit is ‘Water for All’ with the subthemes being ‘Municipal and Rural Water’ and ‘Water usage in Pulp and Paper Industry’. Inauguration of Rejuvenation Project monitored by INWF

Sukhrali Lake (Gurugram, Haryana) Rejuvenation Pilot Project was inaugurated on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti by HE Mr Kimmo Lähdevirta, Ambassador of Finland to India and Honourable Dr Satbir S Kadian, Administrator, MICADA, Government of Haryana. The INWF-monitored project will improve the lives of 500 nearby families and also recharge the depleting groundwater of the millennium city of India. The project combines Indian and Finnish enzyme and oxidation technology provided by Elixir Ecobiotek and Sansox Oy.
